2. How difficult is to learn to operate the embroidery machine?

CAMFive embroidery machines are easy to operate and maintain. One or two days of "Hands on" free training at any of our premises is included upon purchase. We also provide manuals, instructional videos and the best free technical support.

3. Why CAMFive advertise CNC standard made parts?

There is two ways of making mechanical parts. The classic way is using molds and the second one is the computerized numerical control (CNC). CAMFive uses this technology to design the parts and then cuts them with a laser machine, water pressure or plasma. The parts assemble perfectly and perform a synchronized work that minimizes the tear and wear and tear through the years.

4. What kind of materials and garments can I embroider?

With a CAMFive embroidery machine you can work practically everything from fabrics, leather and all kind of garments. You can choose a flat or a tubular model depending on the industry. They have different applications.

5. Will CAMFive do tests and samples for me?

Yes, we have machines available for tests, samples and training. CAMFive will provide and deliver videos for potential customer with the test results.

6. What is the difference between a flat and a tubular embroidery machine?

The flat model is commonly use for fabrics and garments. The tubular does the same but also allows you to embroider on hats and caps. CAMFive will assist you in determine the best model for your application.

7. How much is the operation cost and material in a thousand stitches?

It depends on the country and region. There is some factors like thread, backing, bobbin thread, needles, electricity, maintenance and operator's time. Contact a sales representative for accurate information.

8. How many stitches can I get into an embroidery design?

It is relative to the design generated. The designer decides the quantity of filling, stitches, and the speed. The more stitches the better the finish but it will take more material and time. A standard average design takes about 10,000 stitches but they can be from 1,000 to 100,000 stitches.

9. What is included in a CAMFive embroidery machine?

It depends on the country generally includes: Pantograph. Technical

1. What is the advantage of electronic computerize embroidery machine?

The main advantage is that the CAMFive embroidery machine will execute exactly the design made in a specialize program. A computer is part of the machine structure and includes a mother board, controllers, a special operating system, screen, memory to store designs, and more. With the CAMFive embroidery machine you can make multicolor designs with high definition, top of the line quality, and fast speed.

2. What type of motor does CAMFive use in the embroidery machine?

There is two type of motors. The models with the 10H "touchscreen" use Japanese Panasonic servo motors and controllers. Models with 5D panel use a high power induction Toshiba motor. Both types last a long-life because they use low power consumption and require no maintenance in their life time.

3. At what speed can I embroider on a polo shirt?

This type of fabric is very delicate. Normally ours embroidery machines work between 850 rpm to 1200 rpm. Due to the characteristics of the material we recommend to use a speed of 650 rpm to 750 rpm. Changing the regular needles to ball needles is also recommended.

4. At what speed can I embroider on a cap?

Normally ours embroidery machines work between 850 rpm to 1200 rpm. Depending on the characteristics of the material used in the caps we recommend to use a speed of 650 rpm to 750 rpm.

5. What is the standard type of needles used the CAMFive embroidery machine and how many types are there?

CAMfive uses standard DBXK5 needles. They come in different sizes like 9/65, 11/75, 12/80 etc. These needles can be ordered in different types like ball tip, regular tip, and spade tip for leather.

6. What are the power requirements for a CAMFive embroidery machine?

220 V 60 Hz 15 Amp Outlet is required to power the embroidery machine. Available in 120 V upon request.

8. How long does it take to get a part?

Practically CAMFive embroidery machines are compatible with all the standard formats use for this purpose like EMB, DST, DSB, DSZ... among many more.

4. Can I convert a design that was made in Adobe Photoshop, Ilustrator Or Corel Draw to an embroidery design?

No, it is a different structure. You can take that design and use a tool that comes with the professional software to auto digitize it and convert it. CAMFive recommends the users that when this option is applied adjustments have to be made to get the best results.

5. How easy is to learn the design software?

There are many different software programs some more complex than others. You can find basic software that is just for letters, sequin etc. Learning professional software will take more time than learning the use of the embroidery machine. It takes a lot of practice to become a good designer.

6. What is auto designing or auto digitizing?

Is when an embroidery design software converts in one step a design made in any conventional graphics design software, a picture or a scanned embroidery design. CAMFive recommends to make the necessary adjustments to set the right color sequence, the jumps as well as the right stitch density before sending the job to the embroidery machine.

Maintenance

1. How often do I have to perform preventive maintenance on the embroidery machine?

To assure high durability of the components of your embroidery machine CAMFive recommends the following preventive maintenance: Lubricate the bobbing case with thin oil on an hourly basis. General cleaning with pressurize air. Lubricate parts with regular oil as instructed in the manuals and pictures on the machine. Use heavy oil in the mechanical parts inside the heads once a month. Grease the axis rod every 6 months.

2. How often general maintenance is required and what is included in it?

General maintenance has to be performed by a CAMFive certified technician 3 years after the purchase and once a year afterwards. The machine is taken apart completely heads, tension bases, pantograph etc. the worn out parts are replaced, the machine is cleaned completely and put back together making it look like new. Prices on parts and service varies depending on the country you are located.

3. Does CAMFive Provide training in maintenance?

Yes, as part of the training program the customer is entitle to free training on the equipment at our premises upon purchase. Complete practical training in how to get the best out of you machine is part of our 100% customer satisfaction. Training is also available by telephone, email, Skype and instructional videos. Pictures are also place on the machine to help the user make things easier.

4. Can I do the maintenance myself or it has to be done by a specialist?

There are two types of maintenance. Preventive maintenance (daily, weekly and monthly) can be done by the user. General maintenance has to be performed by a CAMFive certified technician.
